The oldest French residence abroad is also the youngest! Two residency programmes open Villa Medici’s doors to secondary school students on vocational and agricultural courses and to young graduates in the arts. The Résidence Pro and Résidence de découverte x Fondation Culture & Diversité are intended for different categories of young people, but share the same format: a week of immersion in Rome, with a tailor-made programme of activities.

Both programmes strive to offer participants a unique experience, characterised by a change of scenery and a sense of wonder and exchange, in relation to their fields of study.
