Architecture
Atelier Bony Mosconi (1984) articulates architectural projects and exhibition curating to question what the ecological crisis is doing to architecture. The two architects have produced́ several exhibitions including Architecture et imaginaire at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Dessiner le monstre moderne at the FRAC Centre, Sublime, Sidération, Anthropocène at the CIVA, Paris animal at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal. Henri Bony is an associate lecturer at the Versailles School of Architecture and is developing an activitý as a visual artist. Léa Mosconi is a doctor, lecturer at the Nantes school of architecture, researcher (AAU laboratory), and president of the Maison de l’architecture d’Ile de France.
Rome animal, architectural investigation in the Italian capital aims to construct a non-exhaustive account of animal presences in Rome, by combining historical documents and engravings produced during the residency. The aim is to show, through the articulation of fragments from different periods, how the bodies of animals have marked the history of the city, and what this presence might generate today. We will be using a tried-and-tested method for the Paris animal exhibition (2023, Pavillon de l’Arsenal), enabling us to draw up comparative analyses of animal presence in Paris and Rome.
