On the way to Rome
Florence (with my mother), Turin (with Joseph), Venice (with Inga and Valentinas), Bergamo (with Sara and Valentina), Lago d’Orta (with Elsa and Nicoletta),
Rome …
This has been all important visits to Italy for me and it will be my first to Rome. My impression is that I am climbing a mountain to find proximity with the ardent expression of the inseparable weave of art and life in Italian culture. The two weeks in April should serve me to build a first contact with the capital city.
Application 16.12.2024 - 21.02.2025
Throughout the year, the French Academy in Rome welcomes artists, authors and researchers from all disciplines to carry out a specific creative or research project as part of the "Medici Residency" program. These residencies are not part of the annual residents' competition. These residencies last from 2 weeks to 2 months, and are designed to carry out a specific research or creative project.
