The year 2020 marks the half-thousandth anniversary of Raphael’s death. Issue 17 of Studiolo joins the celebrations with a thematic dossier dedicated to the latest research into the work of the Urbino painter, looking at his career, the richness of his output, the creative process, his many links with music and poetry, etc., thus rethinking the various facets of the Raphael myth.
