Claire Le Restif
Claire Le Restif (1967) is the Centre d’art contemporain d’Ivry-le Crédac director. 2011, she moved le Crédac in a new place La Manufacture des Œillets. 2016 she started Crédakino dedicated to films and 2019 a residency program. Recently she was the Prix Fondation Ricard Price curator (2019), the Paris Internationale Fear curator (2021). L’âme primitive at Musée Zadkine (2021), La pensée corps with Alexandra Bircken, Lutz Huelle and Wolfgang Tillmans at Fondation Ricard in Paris (2022). She regularly publishes texts. She lectures at the Master Contemporary art, Sorbonne Université (2015-2020). Takes part of Musée National d’Art Moderne and Nouveau Musée National de Monaco acquisition commitee.
Her project at Villa Medici
Her residency project focuses on Crédac’s curatorial project, or how the long-term curatorial experience helps to articulate a program that digs into several voices that come together and make sense. The aim is to show the main lines and analyze them in relation to a specific territory.
