Competition for selecting resident fellows

The French Academy in Rome announces the 2014 competition for selecting resident fellows at Villa Medici starting next September for a period of from 12 to 18 months.The competition is open to French-speaking artists and researchers of all nationalities, aged from 20 to 45 (by December 31, 2014). Applications (in French) can be sent from 22 January to 28 February 2014 at 6 p.m. through a dedicated website: https://villamedicis.achatpublic.com . Fifteen is the maximum number of fellowships granted to candidates for a sojourn at the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici in 2014. Members of jury, nominated by the French Minister of Culture and Communication, for the 2014 selection are: Anne Marie Jugnet Clairet, visual artist (Jugnet Clairet); Marie-Agnès Gillot, choreographer and étoile at the Opéra de Paris; Lucia Ronchetti, composer; Emmanuele Bernheim (writer). Éric de Chassey, Director of the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici, is the President of the jury; Pierre Oudart, Assistant Director in charge of visual arts at the French Ministry for Culture and Communications and Thierry Tuot, President of the Board of Directors of the French Academy in Rome – Villa Medici, are also members of the jury.
