Tutto Sesto is an effective but non-intrusive device that accompanies the visitor in their discovery of the places by offering them the chance to sit in the shade of the great pines. A curved project, inspired by the proportions of Renaissance architecture.
Tutto Sesto is part of a formal dialogue with its environment without ever constraining the vision towards the gardens and the Villa Medici. The installation seeks to contain the wandering of visitors in the gardens without invading its environment.

About Aurel Design Urbain
Created by Caterina and Marc Aurel, Aurel Design Urbain came about from the meeting of two creative worlds: that of light, objects, matter and that of cities and public spaces. These two complementary approaches, from small to large scale, are the signature of the Aurel Design Urbain studio.
With 25 years of experience, Aurel Design Urbain is contemplating what the city of tomorrow will be, to invent new uses, new utopias, and to give space back to the citizen in the public space. Recipients of the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation’s Dialogue Prize in 2014, for their collection of ceramic furniture for the Souks of Beirut, they are also recipients of the Villa Medici Crafts Residence with the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation in 2023.
Caterina & Marc Aurel have designed, among other things, the new entrances to the Paris metro, the bus shelters of the city of Paris, and the furnishings for the trams of Liège, Metz, Luxembourg and Paris. They are currently participating in the project to restructure the city of Alula in Saudi Arabia with the creation of custom furniture for its future tramway.
