TICKETING OF THE VILLA MEDICI FILM FESTIVAL

3 SCREENINGS PASS
9€ full rate / 6€ reduced rate* (see concessions conditions below)

This pass gives access to three daytime screenings during the entire festival (excluding the Piazzale open-air screenings in the evening). Valid for one person.
Access subject to availability.
Holders of a 3 SCREENINGS pass can book their seat for the three screenings of their choice either online or directly at Villa Medici. Those who have not booked their seats may arrive in advance at each screening.
Please note that access is granted only within the limits of available seats.
The 3 SCREENINGS pass entitles the holder to a reduced ticket of 3€ for the Toiletpaper & Martin Parr exhibition (access during the festival, between 10am and 8.30pm).

FESTIVAL PASS
25€ full rate / 20€ reduced rate* (see concessions conditions below)

This pass gives access to all the daytime and evening Piazzale open-air screenings throughout the festival. Valid for one person.
Access subject to availability.
FESTIVAL pass holders can book their seat for the screenings of their choice either online or directly at Villa Medici*. Those who have not booked their seats may arrive in advance at each screening.
Please note that access is granted only within the limits of available seats.
The FESTIVAL pass entitles the holder to a free ticket for the Toiletpaper & Martin Parr exhibition (access during the festival, between 10am and 8.30pm).

→ PIAZZALE TICKET: EVENING OPEN-AIR SCREENING
5€ single price*

Access to an evening screening on Villa Medici’s Piazzale.
Valid for one person.
The PIAZZALE ticket entitles the holder to a free ticket for the Toiletpaper & Martin Parr exhibition (access during the festival, between 10am and 8.30pm).
In the evening, doors open at 7pm.

*For online bookings:
A fee of €1.80 is charged on the purchase of a PASS or PIAZZALE TICKET.
For PASS holders, a fee of 50 cents is charged for reserving a seat at a screening.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

TICKET COLLECTION AND ACCESS TO THE SCREENING ROOMS

– Access to the screening rooms and to the Toiletpaper & Martin Parr exhibition upon presentation of a valid ticket.
– Presentation of a valid Covid pass and wearing of mask are mandatory for all indoor screenings (Grand Salon and Salle Michel Piccoli) and outdoor screenings (Piazzale screenings in the evening), as well as in the circulation areas.
– Holders of a 3 SCREENINGS or FESTIVAL pass who have not booked their seats may arrive in advance at each screening. Please note that access is granted only within the limits of available seats.

FILM VERSIONS AND SUBTITLES
All films in the Focus and International Competition sections are screened in their original version with English subtitles (daytime sessions).
The evening open-air films are screened in the Piazzale in the following versions:

  • Wednesday 15/09: SERRE MOI FORT by Mathieu Amalric, screened at 9pm in Original Version (French) with English and Italian subtitles
  • Thursday 16/09: L’ORPHELINAT by Shahrbanoo Sadat, screened at 9pm in Original Version (Dari, Russian, Hindi, Urdu) with English and Italian subtitles
  • Friday 17/09: DRIVE MY CAR by Ryūsuke Hamaguchi, screened at 8.30pm in Original Version (Japanese) with English and Italian subtitles
  • Saturday 18/09: DRAMMA DELLA GELOSIA (TUTTI I PARTICOLARI IN CRONACA) by Ettore Scola, screened at 9pm in Original Version (Italian) with English subtitles
  • Sunday 19/09: A CHIARA by Jonas Carpignano, screened at 9pm in Original Version (Italian) with English subtitles

TAKE A BREAK BETWEEN TWO SCREENINGS
Every day from September 15 to 19:

  • Light lunch and coffee from 10.30am to 8pm in the Ferdinand Galleries
  • Refreshments bar from 7pm to 9pm in the Villa Medici’s Piazzale

CONCESSIONS
The reduced rate for the Film Festival subscriptions is applicable to the following categories, upon presentation onsite of a valid ID or official document.

  • Under 25;
  • Unemployed persons upon presentation of a valid certification (iscrizione nell’elenco anagrafico del Centro per l’impiego or inscription à Pôle Emploi);
  • Fellows and members of the other foreign academies in Rome;
  • Visitors with disability or war victims and one accompanying caregiver, upon presentation of a valid card;
  • Fellows, residents and staff of the Casa de Velázquez of Madrid and the Villa Kujoyama of Kyoto;
  • Members and staff of the École française de Rome.
